Our Services
Chicago Yacht Works (CYW) is your one-stop shop for all things boating – now with two locations! Whether you are a new or experienced boater, we work hard year-round to make sure you enjoy your time on the water. CYW offers indoor/outdoor storage, certified service technicians to maintain your vessel as well as an accredited school, Chicago Yacht Academy, for boating education and certifications.
Boat Storage Request
Our storage facilities are located in the heart of Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, spanning over 10 acres and 300,000 sq.ft. With over 60 years of experience moving, blocking, and shoring all makes and models.
Winterizing
If you store your vessel in the Chicago cold, it is imperative to winterize any engine, generator, or really any system on board with water before your boat goes into storage. They must be protected from bursting.
Departures & Arrivals
We treat your boat like it’s our own during the winter season. Our expert crew pulls each vessel out from the river, power-washes the hull, and places it in a dedicated storage location.
Captain Delivery
As you try to make plans to get your boat into storage or out of storage, consider Chicago Yacht Works’ Captain Delivery Service. Our team of experienced professionals are licensed and insured and care for your vessel like it’s their own.
