Our marina is located along the Calumet River at 13620 S. Hoxie Avenue—just south of the Thomas O’Brien Locks—offering easy access to Lake Michigan and freshwater mooring with multiple dock options.

Our marina has a spacious 75,000 square ft of indoor heated storage, plus rack storage and acres of outdoor storage space.

Every vessel is handled with precision and respect—just like it’s our own. Our experienced crew hauls your boat directly from the river, thoroughly power-washes the hull, and places it safely into your designated storage space.

Our entire facility is monitored by a 24/7 state-of-the-art security surveillance system, giving you peace of mind that your boat is protected at all times. For those utilizing our heated indoor storage, we also provide full plastic covering for added protection against dust and moisture.

Our facility is equipped with five fully operational wells and multiple travel lifts—including the largest on the south side of Lake Michigan, with a massive 75-metric-ton (165,000 lbs) capacity—to accommodate boats of all sizes with ease and safety.

I inside store 2 boats at Chicago Yacht Works, and they work on both. Service has been great, both in the yard and at the harbor. They have figured out some modifications I desired. Office and service staff are very responsive. They know their customers and their boats. I am very pleased. I look forward to the move.

My experience with CYW on Ashland goes back at least 13 years. Nancy Bereckis in particular has been my contact person. The only time anything was not right was when she was not there acouple of years back. Its been a good place to winter my boat.

Update: I've been storing here for 7 years now, and they still have great customer service, and a knowledgeable staff!

We're going to miss the Ashland location, but excited to see the updates at the Calumet location.

I have been a patron of Chicago Yacht Works for many years. They are very organized, helpful, and competent. My only complaint was that the fee for last year went up substantially. When I explained my situation, they were willing to work with me. I am grateful for their understanding.
